Confusion and disarray is an 3-photo exhibition by Alexander Gauvin featured in Seeing Further at the Charlotte Street Arts Centre.

Confusion and disarray plays with how I, in particular, see and express emotions, making them less easy to understand and express than others'. I wanted to try to create a series of images that represent this, so I came up with confusion and disarray. I used techniques of motion blur, pixel stretching and colour to alter portraits of people who are expressing an emotion, to try to convey how I may feel and see those emotions differently from you.
