This exhibition has been moved to the lobby of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.

Where? The Lobby of the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design.

When? Opening Thursday, April 2nd, 2026.

Originally, this exhibition was organized by Alexander Gauvin and shown in the 2nd-floor hallway at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design (as shown in the poster), but has since been upgraded and moved to the Lobby and now includes work by Kara Mabey.

Students Against Budget Cuts is a photo series showcasing events from March 17th, 2026, when students enrolled in post-secondary education and high schools across New Brunswick met in Fredericton at the Provincial Legislative to protest against budget cuts imposed on post-secondary institutions.

Alexander Gauvin and Kara Mabey, 2nd-year photography students at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design, participated in the protest by photographing the events as they happened and are now showing these photos as a photographic exhibition.

Each photograph is printed on Epson Premium Lustre paper using a Canon ImagePROGRAF Pro 4000 printer.
